YC Waterjet Welcomes NIO & Tesla OEM Supplier for S Series Waterjet
Jun 26, 2026

On June 25, 2026, YC Water Jet Technology Co., Ltd. hosted a distinguished delegation from a leading domestic new energy vehicle (NEV) OEM supplier. This supplier provides component manufacturing services for premium automotive brands including NIO and Tesla. The visit was specifically arranged to conduct an on-site inspection of the S series enclosed small waterjet cutting system, laying a solid foundation for future collaboration.

Customer Visit Highlights

Accompanied by YC’s technical team, the customers toured the production workshop and observed live demonstrations of the S series small waterjet cutting machine. The S series features an integrated design, available in both fully enclosed and semienclosed (opentop) configurations, and fully complies with CE safety standards. During operation, the system generates no heat, dust, or pollutants, while significantly reducing noise – making it an environmentally friendly choice for precision cutting. A visual glass window allows realtime monitoring of the cutting process, and an automated collection trough efficiently centralises cutting residue and wastewater for clean, hasslefree disposal.

Technical Features of the S Series

The S series waterjet cutting machine is exceptionally user‑friendly. Operators can obtain machining graphics via AutoCAD or other CAD software, then import them through a USB port or network connection. On the standard 17‑inch LCD display (with an optional Italian ECS 15‑inch touchscreen controller available), users simply select a preset program – eliminating the need for moulds and enabling versatile shape cutting. The system is powered by an AC servo drive and linear guide modules, ensuring high precision and long‑term durability. The effective cutting size can be customised down to 800 mm × 800 mm, making it ideal for small‑batch and prototype production.

Customer Feedback and Cooperation Prospects

The customer team highly praised the S series’ performance in precision component cutting. They noted that YC’s waterjet equipment perfectly meets the demanding requirements of automotive manufacturing for composite materials and metal parts, thanks to its cold‑cutting process that eliminates heat‑affected zones. With over 20 years of experience in waterjet cutting, YC has exported its products to more than 100 countries and regions worldwide. This visit not only affirms YC’s technological prowess but also opens a new chapter for in‑depth cooperation in the NEV parts cutting sector.
